Appointment of Rector - May 11, 2010
The Board of European School of Law and Governance decided to appoint Prof.Dr.Dimitrij Rupel as the Rector of the School. Prof.Dr.Dimitrij Rupel accepted the appointment and stated that he will do everything in his power to internationalize the School and its programs. Prof.Dr.Dimitrij Rupel was a Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Slovenia and also served as a Head of EU Presidency for six months.More
Seminar on Independence of Kosovo - December 2, 2009
European Faculty of Law from Nova Gorica, which is the mother institution of ESLG, organized the seminar on "Independence of Kosovo from the viewpoint of international law and further recognitions". The keynote speakers of this seminar were Prof.Dr.Dimitrij Rupel, Prof.Dr.Peter Jambrek, Prof.Dr.Miha Pogacnik, Prof.Dr.Esat Stavileci, and Prof.Dr. Arsim Bajrami. The speakers concluded that the process of independence of Kosovo is irreversible and that the process of legality of independence of Kosovo before the ICJ will not affect the vital functions of the state of Kosovo.
