Human Research Ethics Committee
In the absence of National Human Research Ethics Committee, the Human Research Ethics Committee of College ESLG assesses the ethics, quality, methods and researcher capabilities of a project against the following requirements:
- scientific merit
- benefits outweighing any associated risks
- be conducted by personnel qualified to undertake the research
- show respect for the participants (with particular guidelines for vulnerable groups)
- consider ethical issues associated with the methodology being employed.
